Children with autism sometimes giggle for no apparent reason. Zavier did that today while we were hanging out. We've been teaching him how to answer why questions lately, so I figured I'd give it a shot.
I asked: "Zavier, why are you laughing?"
He replied, "because I happy."
So I asked him: "why are you happy?"
He answered: "because I wuv Mommy."
Zavier was born on May 27, 2004. He was diagnosed with autism in April 2007. This is a blog that follows his journey of recovery and healing.
